Red Flash Calladium

This is one of nine paintings I’ve done in the past week. No I’m not crazy awesome or anything, they’re just small.

The paintings were done on sample linoleum tiles that I acquired and were just painted with acrylic (there’s also a clear coat to prevent them being scratched by someone’s finger, or something). The tiles themselves are no more than two inches squared and I’ve added magnets to the back to make them at least do something.

Not a flower, but a plant with pretty dang cool leaves. They're sort of like a Hosta, in fact, I think they're related. This was an early painting, so it's not as nice as I'd like, but it's not the worst, so I guess that's something, right?
